Tour Finishes: Kusadasi, Selcuk or Izmir
You will be picked up from your Kusadasi or Selcuk Hotel or the Port of Izmir or Kusadasi.
Our first stop on our Classic Ephesus Tour is the site of Ephesus. Our walk through Ephesus will include the concert hall, market place, Celsus Library, Hadrian temple, Odeon, Trajan Fountain and the theatre.
If you would like to visit the Terrace Houses of Ephesus (homes of the wealthy citizens of Ephesus) we can do this while we are here (entrance is extra).
After lunch we will visit the House of Virgin Mary, where it is believed she spent her last days.
We then move on to the Temple of Artemis, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Our last stop is the Isa Bey Mosque which is famous for its architecture and use of geometrical shapes and tiles.
Please note that if you would like to go shopping at the end of the formal sightseeing I can help you to do this, but it is purely optional and up to you. choices include a leather manufacturer, a carpet weaving centre, a small local carpet shop, a ceramics manufacturer or you might simply want to visit a Turkish Delight shop to stock up on gifts for friends and family.
After the tour you will be dropped off at your hotel, back to the port or the Izmir airport. You can also choose to be dropped off at the Selcuk bus station.
